Chapter 121

Hazel’s POV

I knew he was angry and maybe he was right, I should’ve told him about Lucas earlier but I had no idea they were siblings and I was only just trying to protect what we shared.

Pacing around the sitting room, I was trying so hard to keep myself awake till Damian was home. Already dozing off, the sound of the door opening jolted me awake.

“You’re home.” A feel of relief rushed through me as I dried my tears off.

I was glad to see him. His eyes glazed with anger and for a moment I could tell that he was still angry about Lucas. The bruises on his face got me scared and I couldn’t help but worry.

“I’ve been worried about you, I’m just glad that you’re…” my voice broke as I hurriedly made my way towards him in a bid to hug him.

“Meet me in the red room,” he growled, his voice cutting through the silence like a pair of scissors causing me to jump in fear.

“Now, I’ll be waiting.” He smiled and that made my heart calm a little bit.
