Chapter 25

Hazel’s POV

The blaring sound of my phone ringing jolted me out of my sleep, I rubbed my eyes sleepily and I had checked my bedside clock, I had no idea that I’d slept for over nine hours!

My phone rang again and I picked it up to check the caller, I wasn’t expecting him to call my phone or even call to talk to me at all.

“Hello.” I said sleepily into the phone as I laid back on my bed, I was really tired and needed more sleep despite sleeping for hours.

“Hey, did I wake you up?” He asked and I rolled my eyes, what did it seem like he did?

“Yes.” I answered curtly, I was mad at the fact that he’d left me halfway and the way he drove off before I said my thanks made me even angrier.

“Yeah,” He said and I just knew that he’d smirked, what made me think he was going to actually apologize?

“I only called to let you know that you should take your time, you don’t have to come to the club until you’re really ready.” He added and I nodded as though he could see me.

“Thank you,” I said, “Sir.
