Chapter 26- Heavy heart after talking to siblings.

Ella was feeling frightened. She didn’t have the courage to unplug her smart phone from the charging cable. She wanted to get out of bed, but then she was so overpowered by the fear that she lay still on the bed, trying not to make any noise. She had a narrow escape from death last night. She could hear the chirping of birds by now. The howling sounds of the wolves were replaced by the silence of the morning. There wasn’t any sound except the chirping of the birds and the occasional barking of the dogs. She had witnessed that day how Mrs. Rolex had re-shifted into her human form at the onset of dawn. She knew within her heart that the same process might be repeated again. But what if they are still in their wolf form? She was thirsty, and there was no water around in her room. Perhaps the full moon affected their daily routine, and Mrs. Rolex had forgotten to ask the maid to place the jug of water on the table.
