Chapter 28

I sat in the visitor's chair and turned my head away from Keandrick's eyes so he wouldn't see my flushed face. He had been staring at me for so long that I was about to get up and leave his office to calm down because I felt like I couldn't breathe. a stranger who appears to be his age. I lost my desire to leave the room.

“Good day, dear friend!" A man uttered.

“Whoa! All I wanted to do was hug you, dude. You must have missed your friend." The man, who was still grinning, questioned Keandrick. Everywhere he goes, this guy brings his own sunshine with him.

From my vantage point, this person appears to be close friends with Keandrick. He really does exude positive energy from the moment he walks into the room. He even wanted to hug my boss, but my boss kept putting himself between them.

Although Keandrick's response was emotionless, his male companion appeared unconcerned, as if he was accustomed to my boss' tolerant demeanor.
