Chapter twenty nine

3RD PERSON POV.

Two weeks later. (29th September. Wednesday.)

No. No. This isn't happening. This can't happen to me. No!

"How did this happen?!" Mr. Hodge yelled at all of them whose heads were bowed unable to answer any questions thrown at them.

They knew best not to reply him whenever he was in one of his fits.

His ragged breath was obviously seen cause of the way his chest rose up and down heavily.

"Sir, we..."

A gunshot was heard as one of his goons tried to talk.

Owen and every other flinched at the sudden gunshot. The fear was totally conspicuous in their features.

They heard a thud and turned to see that the guy who tried to talk was flat dead.

"You guys think any excuse is necessary at the moment? The deed is done!" Mr. Hodge told all of them with rage in his eyes.

Owen gulped. He was scared of how wrong things could go if the boss doesn't calm down.

"Maybe one of you two that are supposed to be my shadows should die too." Mr. Hodge threatened.
