Chapter 14: New Identity

I stayed awake throughout the whole night. I was too excited to sleep.

The thought of getting an inch closer to my revenge did not let me sleep.

Everything was set. I had spoken to Marcus earlier though this time I did not have to steal Ivan's phone since he had gotten me one.

At five am, I got up from the bed and went to take a shower.

When I was done, I took a long time in front of the mirror ensuring that I had gotten everything right.

Ivan stirred behind me around six a.m.

"Good morning." I greeted him cheerfully.

He paused , looking at me as if I had lost my mind before replying to me.

I gave him no mind and focused on what I was doing.

I drew my hair back into a sleek low ponytail. I knew how much Nicholas loved seeing women with ponytails, but I had to take it down as I noticed a few scars which had not totally disappeared around my temples.
