Chapter 113 Acknowledge His Feelings

Liam asked, "Elizabeth?"

When Aubrey brought up Elizabeth, Liam was taken aback. Looking back, he had shown Elizabeth a lot of kindness and consideration over the years.

First of all, Elizabeth had never made a fuss and was always quiet and well-behaved. Second, and perhaps more importantly, he believed that she had saved him from the fire. She had saved his life.

Liam did not have concrete proof yet, but the newly discovered information had proven this. At this point, Liam was unsure if Gwyneth was the one who had saved him, but he could definitively rule out Elizabeth.

All Liam could do was keep treating Elizabeth as a friend after discovering the lie and the unfavorable truth. He was now making as many amends as he could after the effects of years of deceit.

After weighing his thoughts, Liam settled into the chair by the bed. He knitted his eyebrows lightly, then relaxed.

Aubrey asked, "So, all in all, am I correct to say that you are treating Ms. Lisle as an old friend?"
