Chapter 122 Don't Underestimate Your Enemy

After Gwyneth went back to her office, Wanda talked with her about some work-related issues.

Gwyneth did not discuss her position or relationship with Hayden clearly, and Wanda did not pry further. Perhaps it was a tacit understanding between adults.

They had some shared understandings, but if they discussed them, things would be different. Wanda had risked her life to save Gwyneth when they were being kidnapped, that alone was more than enough.

Gwyneth gently patted Wanda's shoulder, and her eyes were clouded with worry. She urged, "The project hasn't started yet. You can take a few more days off if you're not feeling well."

Wanda shook her head and placed last week's report on the desk. She stated, "Ms. Glen, I'll get back to my work right away."

Gwyneth skimmed the report. It was visually pleasing and well organized. She cast an appreciative glance at Wanda before allowing her to leave.
