Gwyneth laughed angrily at the receptionist's words. "Do you even have a good workplace environment here?" she said, no longer patient at the service. She did not intend to hold back since there was no reason for her to do so. Instead, she raised her eyebrows to show that she took no rejections. This was enough to make the girl at the front desk lose the argument.

Looking at the staff's gaze, Elizabeth cursed to herself but finally opened her mouth because she needed to act as the good guy in the situation. "Ms. Glen, why would you argue with our front desk personnel? It's a little small-minded of you, don't you think?"

"So what you're saying, Ms. Lisle, is that you would just laugh about it if someone with a lower status than you comes up to you and pushes you down?"

Gwyneth turned to look at Elizabeth and felt uncomfortable when she saw her fake smile.

"What kind of point are you trying to make, Ms. Glen? Don't forget that we're in Luther Corporation."

"So what?" Gwyneth gritted
