Lady Vienna felt the cold bed beside her. She instantly opened her eyes and saw it was empty. Duke Raziel was gone.
“Roxy, where’s the Duke?” She asked her maid.
“He’s off to the guild,” Roxy replied.
She cursed under her breath, feeling disappointed and angry at Raziel. They just shared a special moment. Well, nothing really happened last night, they just slept beside each other, which should be normal for couples….
But it feels it wasn’t special for the duke. To think he was just injured last night…
A whole day passed and still, Duke Raziel was still nowhere.
Lady Vienna kept herself busy outside the gardens, practicing her sword skills with Roxy and Huxley.
