Unexpected Pack

The rest of the days had gone by, with Duke Raziel sleeping in his room and Huxley guarding his room like his life depended on it. He won’t let anyone see the duke, not even me, his wife.  

It’s the first time she saw Huxley so strict and serious about his duty. Well, whatever it was, it was sure as hell deep.

One morning when she had the chance to slip by, she was close to opening the door when Huxley cleared his throat. 

“What can I do for you, my lady?”

She cleared her throat, “Oh, I wanted to check on things here. Like where’d the bathroom?”
