Lost

After an hour of waiting on the trees, I listened hard for the roars of lions or tigers to reach my ears. I wanted to know if there were any wild creatures near, any signs of danger that could harm me. Rehana and I had no weapons. I had no idea how we were going to manage in this forest-all on our own. 

Trying to distract me from the anxious and the feeling of what could happen, I tried distracting myself by looking at Rehana.
