KURT'S POV:-
My father pulled away from Audrey after she said those words for Leyla. I had no idea what Leyla might have said to my father that he was defending her that way. I had never witnessed my father defending someone else in front of me. "She came to me today. She asked me to give you these papers. She wants you to sign them. So she can get the child aborted. I was so furious when she told me about your child. Could you not be careful when you were already married?" My father was back on his chair as he yelled at me again. I narrowed my head as there was no way I could make him calm down. He was angry because Leyla went to him.
"She will come to meet me tomorrow. She will collect these papers. I want you to sign the consent papers. That is the least you can do to make it right. I want these papers on my study table by tomorrow morning. And you better stay away from
LEYLA'S POV:-After a few minutes, I decided to go back down. I needed to tell my parents about it. Not that I needed to. But I wanted them to be part of it. I didn't want them to learn the truth from the others. It would be pretty painful for them if I didn't trust them with my secrets. As I knew, I would find my parents in the living room. So without wasting any more time, I went straight towards the living room. As expected, they were sitting together, reading books. I went towards them and cleared my throat. As they heard me, they turned their heads to look at me. "Come here, my sweet child. Join us." Dad asked me as he opened his arms for me to join them.I nodded my head and went towards my dad. I sat down beside him and held his hand. He kissed my forehead as he always did. "Mom! Dad! I have something to tell you. It is better if you hear it from me. I
LEYLA'S POV:-After that, I went back to my room. I decided to change my clothes as I was planning on going out for a while. I stuffed my phone and my wallet in my purse then stepped out of my bedroom. I went straight towards my car. My parents had already left for a formal business dinner, I didn't need to inform them. I hopped into my car and drove off. I drove straight towards the bar I usually went to whenever I wanted to be left alone. No one was ever able to find me at that bar. As I didn't have any standard in almost everything, I could go to a bar where mostly customers were either from the trailer park or lived in some trashy apartments.I didn't want to be judgy. But that place was actually my hideout. I parked my car in front of the bar and hopped out. I was about to go into the bar when someone held my wrist and stopped me. Gritting my teeth in anger, I t
LEYLA'S POV:-We hopped out of the car and started walking. After about a five minutes walk, we reached in front of a five star restaurant. I frowned in confusion and turned to look at him. I had no idea what I was doing there. And why would an unknown man bring me to the restaurant? "Just trust me. I know you are confused right now. But you will know the reason why I brought you here. Just act like we are a couple. It will not draw attention towards us." He answered all my unasked questions. I was shocked again. That man was literally something else. Again, I did what I was told to do. I wrapped my arms around his arm as he pulled me into the restaurant. He pulled me towards an empty table. Like a gentleman, he pulled my chair for me. I thanked him and sat down on my chair. A waiter came and gave us the menu cards. Then he left. I looked at Gabe who was looking at me. "I
LEYLA'S POV:-Gritting my teeth in anger, I hopped off of the chair I was on and stomped out of the restaurant. I felt like murdering Kurt for lying to me like that. He made me feel as if I was his only hope for getting a baby. While I could clearly see that he had his own family. And to my surprise, he had been married to Audrey for a long time, as Gabe told me. I felt a light tap on my shoulder. That made me turn around. Gabe was standing behind me with an apologetic look on his face. "I am so sorry, but I had to bring you here. Are you alright?" He asked me in a low tone while patting my head."No, I am not alright. I am going crazy right now. How in hell that all happened? And how do you know so much about Kurt? Hell, how do you even know that I am pregnant with his baby?" I asked him all those questions within a breath. I was confused and angry, bo
LUCIAN'S POV:-As it had almost been a month, it was now time for us to get started. The witches were ready. I was supposed to go and get all the people who were going to get sacrificed. I stepped out of the bathroom and froze in my tracks. Samira was lying on my bed. I was not expecting that. I knew that I locked my bedroom door before I went to take a shower. She seductively smiled at me as she saw me almost naked. I rolled my eyes at her and walked towards my closet. I grabbed my clothes and slipped in. I heard her footsteps coming towards the closet. "Don't even think about it." I yelled loudly to stop her. I knew what she wanted.Ever since she came to me, she had been trying to hit on me. I must say, she was a very stunning woman. But there was no woman who was more stunning for me than Leyla. Samira had even tried to enter the bedroom that I had kept l
LUCIAN'S POV:-I reached the place that looked like a dungeon. Practically that place smelled like death. I could see, all the cells were filled with humans. I was walking around, looking at each of the prisoners. They were perfect for the rituals my father wanted. "They are the perfect subjects to perform the types of rituals King of hell wants to perform. I will tell Lucifer about your greatest services for the greatest cause. Our lord will be very happy to know how much you have done for him." I spoke to king Omas while looking at all the subjects. I counted the subjects I wanted to take back to my mansion. Witches were getting ready to start the rituals. I had to hurry.Just as I was counting, I heard king Omas laughing like a crazy man. Frowning in confusion, I turned around to look at him. Just then he blew something on my face. A black coloured powder
LEYLA'S POV:-My eyes were so wide open that I felt like they would pop out of their sockets anytime. I couldn't believe that after everything, some creatures still thought that the Spirituals were monsters. "How ironic? You just came here. You just met me. And here you are, accusing the innocent children of the Spirituals. You think I don't know anything about them. But guess what, I know everything." I almost yelled at Gabe out of frustration. I could still remember how Alex was crying when he told me the story of his mother. I could never imagine the hardships henand the other Spiritual hybrids went through. He was right. They were just a bunch of kids. Who happened to see their spiritual parents suffer.Hearing me yell at him, he suddenly gritted his teeth. It felt like he was angry at me because I yelled at him. I just couldn't respect a man who didn't know how to respect the creat
LEYLA'S POV:-My words seem to give him a shock. He was unsure of doing anything. He didn't let go of my wrists. But he pulled away from me a little. I tried to get myself free from his hold. But it felt like I was lying under the concrete. He pulled away from me and sat down beside me. He pulled me up and I gasped. Then he let go of one of my wrists. To my surprise, his firm hold didn't leave any marks on my skin. It was not even hurting. "Who told you all this? Last I checked there was no one around who could remember anything about that kind. We wiped all the memories about the Spirituals. So where did you get all this information?" My eyes widened as he asked me something I was not expecting at all.I didn't dare to look back at his face. With my narrowed head, I kept trying to snatch my other wrist away too. When I fought too much, he pulled my hand and I ended
