I parked the car in the middle of the road, looking around like an idiot. I couldn't find my way back to Angel Gabriel's cabin. Cabin, house, whatever it was. I stepped out of the car and looked around. Trying to figure out which way I had to turn next. I kicked the wheel of my car as I couldn't figure out which way it really was. I had too much on my mind. And that was the reason why I couldn't focus the way I should. My powers were compromised because of everything that had been going on in my life. After knowing the truth that slipped out of Lucian's mouth, I was scared of almost everything. I felt like crying after knowing that he had been lying to me all along.
