CHAPTER THIRTY ONE

Bonding day.

Frema had long awaited this day, a day she'd finally relax and just watch her children play around, away from work and stress. The park was a perfect place to let off tension, even if Riley had called in last minute to say she was going to be busy and couldn't come. She sighed and settled to watch her kids now. Drake was more of the talker, picking conversations with kids of his age and even slightly older ones. Josh hardly conversed, most times idling himself with toys and games. He joined in on small talks with some children who dared come close, but that was it. He reminded her of.. his father.

"Mommy, Yvette's here!" Josh suddenly squealed and I laughed,

"Is she? I think you should go say hi then, won't you?" I prodded.

He seemed unsure. "She's a girl," he stated like was just noticing that, "girls are unpredictable and annoying. What if she ignores me?"
