Sitting in the room with Laris, Echo, and Ellis was an interesting experience. Magnus I stirred in my sleep, my dragon coiling inside me and pushing against my consciousness. He was worried. Something was very wrong to have him pushing at me so insistently, the wolf pacing beside him in agitation. Brodryn I flew nonstop, my wings aching with the punishing pace. I was accustomed to flying longer and farther than this but the stress of needing to get to Kara, the iron blood cuffs being so close, carrying Blaze’s dead weight and the fear and Corey I was still feeling and experiencing was enough to fatigue me far earlier than I would have liked.
