Chapter 18: Rumors

Braxton’s POV

“Brax, are you okay?” Tristan asked me. I know I was staring off into space. I felt like my brain just couldn’t wrap around what information I was given, but it was also the feelings I got that I couldn’t explain.

“Yeah man, I’m good. That was just a lot. I think you are right though; we need to go and get some rest. Last night was a long night, and we need the rest to be able to process all of this.” Part of me was desperately wanting to go see Addy, especially after the comment Aaron made. I could feel my anger rise when he talked about Addy having a mate. I didn’t want Addy to have a mate, well I didn’t want her to be a mate with anyone else.

“Alright,” Tristan said while still looking at me concerned, “I’m going to go see Addy. I will see you both tomorrow morning at training.”

“Yeah, that sounds good.” Aaron said while slapping him on the back.

“Yeah, we will see you tomorrow. Let me know if Addy needs anything or if she gets worse.” I tell Tristan. He
