Chapter 35 -Goodbye Daddy

Zelena.

I clung on to Gunner’s arm as we walked slowly down the stairs to the cell. I turned and buried my face into his chest.

“Don’t leave me” I whispered.

“Never” he wrapped his arms around my shoulders and squeezed me tight.

We got to the bottom of the stairs and found Spartan waiting by the cell door. He looked at me and his body tensed, a deep growl came from the back of his throat. Gunner growled and Spartan snapped his eyes to him and shook his head.

“I’ll be upstairs” he huffed, as he walked by his huge chest brushed against my arm and a small whimper fell from my mouth. He growled again and Gunner stared him down until he was up the stairs.

“You’re not making this easy on everyone” he said brushing his lips against my neck. A move that would usually get my legs shaking but I couldn’t focus on anything other than the cell door. I stepped f
