Kayla's POVThis woman was strong. The way she carried me on her shoulder up several stairs without even taking a breath surprised me. But still, I didn't know if I should trust her or if I should stay clear from her. What was clear is that there is no escape from this place, so maybe the latter part of my thoughts about her wasn't even an option, I most definitely can't stay clear from her. As she carried me up the stairs, my eyes followed the white walls and soon I closed my eyes. I wasn't sleeping but it felt that way. I could feel her drop me carefully on a bed, covering me with warm sheets since the place was cold, and then talking to someone over the phone asking them to bring meals for me. She tapped me gently and I reluctantly opened my eyes and looked at her. Her blue hair matched her blue eyes, the only thing is that her eyes didn't look like the kind of blue eyes that you'd admire and wish to be lost in. No, it looked awfully cold and a bit scary. " Those men were trying
FreyaI woke up feeling very hungry and angry. I wanted nothing more than to just eat right now, so I got up and went straight out of my room to go find my mom. I soon found her in the kitchen with our maids, instructing them on what to do." I'm hungry," I said, glaring at her and the other women who were staring at me as if they'd seen a ghost. My mom clasped her hand over her mouth and started to get teary-eyed as she looked at me. " Freya," she said as she hugged me and kissed my forehead. The moment she called me Freya, I felt like I had lost something. Something huge, something that I may never get back but regardless I was too annoyed because I was hungry, so I brushed the thought away and patted my mom's back." Okay, okay. I don't know why you're hugging me instead of giving me food but the hug is appreciated. I'd like to have some food though." I said and she released me from her grip and nodded her head." Where Jean and Cole?" I asked as the women set the food on the table
Hector's POV The silence that followed my confession was maddening. All of them were looking at me as if I was a foreign entity or something. Nova was holding my hand and she was even shaking. I couldn't blame her, this has been her worst fear, the day she tells the Rogues that she was never a wolf but a sorceress and so am I, only, I am both. " Wait, I'm very confused right now. Nova, when you said that the mist that separates us from other packs was cast by a sorcerer who gave you a little magic gift to tell if someone would be an enemy or a friend, all that was a lie? You were in fact the sorceress? And those items in your vault that you said belong to that sorcerer - who you claimed taught you how to use some of the tools... All those items are yours? " " That's a lot of questions Drew" " But Nova we thought being able to tell if a visitor would be an enemy or an ally was something any of us could do as far as we held that crystal ball thing and placed it near the person's head

Aidan's POVIt's been three days since Kayla's abduction. Even though I just got here, I could tell that things were awful because of what happened. Most of the Rogues are blaming Hector because he brought Kayla to their territory. The real Bloom pack wolves arrive a week ago and they were extremely shocked by the stories they heard. Nova has not come outside in weeks and the same with Hector. I heard they are inside Nova's room trying different spells to find Kayla. But as much as I want them to find Kayla, that may not happen if these Rogues succeed in killing Hector. Currently, they were arguing amongst themselves at the tavern on whether or not he should be killed or pardoned and as always, I watched them from somewhere hidden. " If you keep hiding behind that pillar every time, they'll catch you one day." I heard someone say and found Aubrey crouching behind barrels of alcohol in the warehouse. No one ever goes there that much because unlike what I expected, Rogues aren't heav
Aidan's POV" Mom, what are you doing here?" I asked, avoiding eye contact with her and walking away with no direction in mind at all." I heard that there is an uproar here so I decided to come see you...and Kayla maybe." The moment she said Kayla's name I stopped walking and turned around to face her. She looked totally unbothered by my reaction and it just irritated me so terribly. " You want to see Kayla, maybe?" I asked and she scoffed. " Okay fine, I heard she was taken. So, I brought someone to keep you company." She said and then Becka came forward. " Hi," she said and I gulped because I didn't expect her to look so... different. She was no longer wearing her glasses, she's dyed her hair blond and was looking a lot...prettier. I suddenly remembered how I had a little moment with Becka while Kayla was away. I was very vulnerable by what my parents had done to make me reject Kayla. Becka was there for me and she really helped me get myself back but one thing led to another a
Aidan's POV" She saw what?" Nova asked immediately I told her why I brought Becka to her room. Hector didn't even look my way or Becka's at all. I knew he was still drowning in self-guilt because of all that's been going on lately but I was starting to feel like he was going too far. I'm sure Kayla must've told him how much Becka means to her so he couldn't look at her because he feared she may blame him for Kayla's absence or... maybe I am wrong. " Hi," she said to Nova who just looked at her from head to toe. " Hi," Nova said, and then she exchanged looks with Hector. " You said you saw Kayla and she's living with a man called Alpha Drey?"" Yes, and they're calling her a different name now, Freya" The minute Becka said Freya both Nova and Hector seemed to be afraid. " What did she sound like? Did she still sound like herself or did she sound like this Freya?"" That's...well, she sounded like herself but her mannerisms were different. "" They've trapped her soul somewhere a
Hector's POVI hurled immediately after we reached where Nova had us magically transported. That was one of the worst feelings of my life! I felt like my soul left my body and then it came back into my body only to leave again the moment we landed. " This is not cool Nova. Didn't even give us a heads up" I heard Aidan say as he too wiped his mouth clean after hurling as well. " You'll get used to it eventually," she said as she placed Becka's body carefully on the sand. " You're joking, right? You expect us to really do that again? After this experience? No way. I'm never doing that again, even if I have to trek several miles into the..." I stopped paying attention to Aidan's rambling and looked around us. We were on an island with so many palm trees and coconut trees clustered together to form an amazing shade, immediately you come out of the sea. " It's an island," I said and turned around to find that I'd already wandered a little too far for them to hear what I just said.Nova
