Four months.

Four months had gone by, the sun had come and gone, escorted by the moon. The shriveled trees were beginning to fatten, their flowers ready to bloom.

Four months, Calihan had been slipping in and out of coma, giving hope yet shattering it at the same time. He had never been awake for more than one minute and when he was awake, he'd call out his mate's name then slip back into coma.

Diya was due to give birth but she couldn't. The doctors diagnosed her with depression but they refused to understand that, what luna Diya was battling was more than depression. They had suggested surgery but also said she might not survive it if they go ahead and do it.

Her personal doctor even stopped her from seeing Calihan because she said the Luna needed all her energy so she was placed on bed rest in the hospital, right next to her mate's room. Just what kind of cruel fate was that?.
