Natalie stared at Dante's sweaty palms and her heartbeat accelerated. He was never going to tell her the truth about how nervous he was.

But why would he even think about lying to her when it was Sophie's fault?

"Dante?" She prompted giving him a pleading look, "I need the truth, please."

He nodded and wiped his sweaty palms on his trousers.

"When did you find out she was pregnant?" She asked again.

"I was at home that day when she called me early in the morning threatening to tell you about her pregnancy if I didn't come to see her," he began avoiding her eyes.

Natalie frowned. What day had this happened?

"I didn't want to tell you so you won't get stressed and get hurt with the baby so I left and I convinced her to get rid of the baby. She agreed to do so only that I spend the entire day with her away from my phone," he continued.
