Six Years Ago.
Dante shut the door to his grandfather's study in anger as he headed to the roof. Tears were stinging in his eyes and all he wanted was to scream and let out some of the pain and anger he felt in his heart.
"You are not allowed to leave this compound!" His grandfather hollered after him.
He found solace by looking up at the stars but tonight was different. Tonight, he felt as though his heart wasn't in the right place.
His heart had been stolen by a certain girl with beautiful brown eyes. He had asked for permission to go back to her small town that night so he could take her to the movies but Alaric refused.
Damn the man!
He saw an approaching car and frowned. This car was familiar and so was the driver of the car. What did Natalie's father want here that he arrived here and how did he know Alaric?
