"I wanted the human here, Marina. The Goddess will not listen to a plea from some random human. I wanted her as a bargaining tool. You failed me," Dagahra growls, and Marina flinches before meeting his angry yellow eyes.

"I'm not my mother, Dagahra. My abilities are minuscule compared to hers. I was barely able to conceal her scent after placing her under, and he still found me before I fully unlocked her mind. I did manage to give her a compelling dream, though, and I saw the majority of her memories. You never know... the Goddess Selene has made many mistakes in the past. She might be easily swayed by heartfelt begging," Marina says with hope in her voice, and the dragon in front of her roars.
