I growl as my eyes open. Anger and frustration are festering in my bloodstream like a potent venom. I want to kill. I want to rip apart anything and everything that is standing in front of the happily ever after Garrett spoke about the other day.
The dream of finding a mate and starting a family that loves me is being dangled in front of me on a string. I'm like a mouse in a lab. I have to complete the task the mad scientists made before I can get my prize.
