I whined as I flipped through his notebook looking for the path it says about how to convince the Grand Tree.

" The Grand Tree has no sense of time and might talk in an old ancient language which takes a long time to say one word. Best to get Manor to use his phantom magic and bond with the tree. Both of them would share his consciousness and he should be able to communicate with the Grand Tree. If not, allow it to possess Manor and let the Grand Tree speak through him. If that doesn't work, then convince the Grand Elders."
