Kaen POV

I groan feeling the sunlight once again on my face as I turn to my side.

"Hiki, get off you're heavy..."

I once again, out of habit, say to no one while feeling the empty cold sheets next to me where Hikaru used to be just a week ago but felt like years.

I sigh once more as I look up at the canopy above my bed, wondering what should I do. I then hear the sound of my doorknob turning. I don't know why, but instead of sitting up, I immediately lay on my side pretending to sleep.

" Kaen? It's time to get up."

Hikaru calls out to me, I could feel him sitting on the edge of my bed and leaning towards me. My brain was telling me to pretend to wake up but my body refused to move like it was waiting for something. My heart jumped in my throat when Hikaru suddenly touched my shoulder. I was waiting for him to shake me, but instead, his hand let go. I suddenly felt the warm touch of his hand on my forehead. I almost jolted in surprise at his sudden touch, but thankfully I
