Chapter Fifty Three - Girl Power

Kari's POV

I wasn't sure if I wanted this. I watched as Grant stood up from the sofa. He leant down and kissed my forehead.

"Give us a moment, girls." He said and they nodded and went through to the kitchen area to give us some privacy. He kelt down in front of me as I stayed where I was. "I know you are nervous, I can feel it sweetheart."

"I'm not ready." I mutter as he brushes my hair back.

"You need the girls right now. I love you to the moon and back, my dear, but our wolves are going to want to mate as we have been apart for three days, and I know you are not ready for that. You have been through too much."

"You are going to stay away until I am ready?" She asked, a look of fear crossing her features.

"Oh dear Goddess no," he responded, a soft smile on his face. "I couldn't stay away from you that long, my little moon, I'm struggling with the thought of a night away from you. But you need some time to decompress, and what better way to do that than with the girls, a movie and pop
