After my conversation with Julia, I went to sleep without bothering to ask Victor about the topic she brought up with me.

I woke up the next morning and quickly took my bath before heading downstairs to fix dinner for us. The guys came down about an hour later and I served the food before we all began eating.

" Maya, can I speak with you for a moment? " Victor asked after we were done eating and I hummed in response before heading to his room.

" What is it? " I asked as soon as we got to his room and he smiled sheepishly at me, fidgeting with his fingers. Whatever he wanted to say to me, he was nervous to do that and I chuckled at the way he was acting.
