Chapter 36

VICTOR BLOODBORNE

I was working in my office after breakfast when I heard Maya's shrill from my office and I ran out, heading to her room. I knocked on her door, calling out her name, but she wasn't responding to my calls.

I turned the door knob and luckily, it was opened so I entered the room just to see her laying on the floor, clutching her stomach as she cried in anguish.

I ran to her and touched her body only to find out that she was burning up. I carried her in a bridal style and placed her gently on the bed, sitting down next to her.

I realized that her core was eating her up because she had no energy left in her. I filled her up with energy, making sure she had more than enough to heal her and also keep her strong.

She was supposed to be very weak when she had used up all her strength, but there was no way the work she had been doing had been dawning on her.
