I left Victor's office, taking each step with a heavy foot as I pondered over what he said. Was he right? Why did that topic affect him so much that his inner beast almost came out?
I felt I knew so little about him, I wanted to know more, but there was simply no way to do that. He was pushing me away, he didn't want me to know anything about it and even though my curiosity was killing me, I couldn't force him to do that.
