The Joining

When Olivia, Meredith and Jill got home, William and Amber were waiting for them.

“Will it help you if someone did a locator spell for the creature?” Amber asked.

“Mine turn up no results but we could try,” William nodded.

Amber grabbed a small post-it from a desk nearby and wrote an address.

“Can you handle this on your own?” William asked, handing the address to the girls.

“Sure,” Meredith said, taking the post-it.

Next morning, the three of them set off to see Maddie, an elderly witch who lived in an isolated house near the woods.

“She is good at spells but obviously no one takes her seriously,” Amber had told them.

As soon as they walked onto her porch a line of fire appeared from nowhere, blocking their way. Shortly after that, an elderly woman appeared on the porch.

“Leave my property you, monsters! I know what you are,” she said.

“I read your vibes and I will not let the likes of you harm people in this town as long as I am alive. You must know that my power is threefold,” she
