Chapter Eighty One

Henry POV

I found her just where i had expected, she was having her regular break at the cafe down town and was also scrolling through her phone. Her brows were creased and her eyes fixated on nothing else, she was lost in her world that she didn’t notice me come by until i was pulling the chair opposite her. Her eyes tugged up and they stared at me, wide. The straw in between her lips fell and her mouth formed an ‘o’.

“You could get kidnapped, you know.” I started and she shut her mouth and then rolled her eyes at me.

“What a blissful way to say hello.” She remarked and took another sip from her cup. “What are you doing here Brian?”

No one called me Brian, no one except Avery who had her way with me. I didn't mind it, infact, I enjoyed that she acknowledged me like that.
