Chapter 22: "Lost in your eyes"

For a minute, I almost believe what Damon said but then I realize that he's just trying to make me fall, a classic casanova style: compliment you and tell you things no one else told you so you can feel special even when they're just toying you.

I know their kind too well. I'm not proud but I've been toyed by the likes of him. I was the subject of bets of all sorts because I was the weird and hopeless romantic girl everyone knew.

Damon was no different. He was a casanova. Always will be.

Damon sat beside me and said, "Well, we're definitely lost."

"Why are you sittting beside me?"

"I wanted to."

"Gross."

Damon snickered, "Woman, you will be swayed. Sooner or later."

"Keep dreaming." I grinned confidently, "No matter what you do, I will never fall in love with you."
