Chapter 85
Sid got off my foot and slithered to the attached restroom to shift and put some clothes on. He came out of the restroom chuckling, “I’m used to Luna Abby and Ashina knowing who I am, I just can’t believe you know me so well, already, Princess Chloe.” I laughed, “I have heard the stories all my life, Sid. I still love you, though.” I stood and hugged him tightly. He smiled, “I love you too, sweetie. So, you are doing another event in our neck of the woods now?” I nodded, “Sure am. I’m looking forward to seeing if we can be of any help.” King Mateo heard this as he was walking by and leaned in to whisper, “Even a small improvement is an improvement, and we will appreciate it a lot.” Sid nodded, “Amen!” I smiled, “You guys are giving us too much credit, but I will take it.”

The next three days went great. King Mateo’s castle was buzzing with excitement as we all pitched in to prepare for the event. King Mateo designed some flyers and sent some of the younger citizens of his kingdom to distribute them and tape them to storefront windows. By Saturday morning, I’m ready for this event to be done and go back to our little cabin on the mountain. I want my kitchen, and my comfy couch where I fall asleep on Aidinth’s lap every time. I’m not really upset with anyone; I just miss my little piece of heaven on Earth. I get out of bed, take my shower, get dressed in a pair of black jeans and a white button up shirt, with the sleeves rolled up to my elbows. This is about as business casual as I can get, and I’m determined to be comfortable today. I walk down to the dining room, and immediately pour myself a cup of better attitude. When we got back to King Mateo’s castle, we ate a late dinner, and sat outside in lounge chairs by the water and just enjoyed each other’s company. We had been talking and laughing until I heard a hiss, and a ball was thrown into my lap. As we made it to town, I started noticing kids just walking around town. I asked Queen Judia, "What's going on with the kids? Why are they just walking around?" She shrugged her shoulders, "I really don't think they have much to do. They are in town, because it's more boring at home, and there is no school today."
