Confusing stalker

Kira's POV

I kept hearing a slight thump on my window as I slept. I tossed continuously on my bed without the idea that someone was by the window. Maybe I was too tired to pay attention to something as crucial as that.

After the persistent thumbing, I opened my eye as a groan escaped from my lips. I turned to look out my window and my heart dropped.

What was he doing here? I asked myself.

“Ken?" I called out, rubbing my eye with the back of my palm to get the sleep off. Maybe I was still dreaming, I concluded inwardly.

He knocked again and I realized I wasn't dreaming. It was Ken. What was he doing here? I asked myself. I remembered he didn't even want to look at me twice when I was at his house, but now he was here.

His eyes looked different. It didn't hold the usual annoyance and irritation, it usually held each time they fell on me.

I slipped off my bed and walked to my window to open it. He entered through the opened window while I stood by the side with my hands akimbo.
