Kira's POV

The mumbles around me was what woke me up. The light that peered into my eyes almost gave me a headache. I finally opened my eyes and I was stunned. I was surrounded by both Austin and Ken. People I didn't think will ever be together.

“Finally," Ken said. His face held relief. That was strange because of the Attitude he had been giving me.

Austin on the other hand watched me closely probably to see if I was strong enough to even sit up.

I felt okay like I didn't pass out a while ago. Probably because Ken was there.

"How long have I been out?” I asked as I stood up.

"Couple of hours” Austin answered. "Are you okay?”

"Funny how you are asking that question. You were the one who caused this” Ken spoke up and I sighed. It was going to be another round of bickering. I didn't understand why they wouldn't just relate with each other for once.

"If you didn't introduce her to your vampire friends, her life wouldn't be in danger"

Ken got closer to Austin and the atmosphere tensed up.
