Chapter 28 Secret Marriage And Fake Engagement

If a look could kill, Rafael's terrifying gaze would have killed me. Despite the beauty of his eyes, his gaze was at that moment extremely frightening. I won't lie and say I didn't feel afraid. But I ignored him.

Once Daniel let those words out of his mouth, the hall went silent. All that was heard was the hiss of side conversations. Then journalists who were allowed into the hall approached and began peppering us with their questions.

Instinctively, I looked towards Rafael. He was frozen. Staring at us plainly. His facial expressions were unreadable.

When I asked Daniel to pretend to be my fiancé, I didn't expect that he was a well-known businessman, and I didn't expect this fake engagement to go wild.
