CHAPTER 14

It was time for the court to resume trial proceedings, and everyone noticed that Detective Kelvin was not around.

Olivia was looking around hopefully to see him because she thought he had evidence that could clear her name from the murder case of Mr Roland.

George Roland had no idea why Detective Kelvin was absent but he was happy that no one would be able to present any evidence proving that he killed his father.

The judge knew that the case was already complicated, and he was surprised by the absence of Detective Kelvin.

Meanwhile, the judge and the two lawyers continue the trial proceedings. "Your Honor, even in the absence of Detective Kelvin, I think all the recorded conversation and the secret plot of an unknown group of people should be considered as evidence that Mr George Roland has a hand in the death of his father."

Olivia's lawyer said. "Those are not sufficient proofs. Besides, where is Detective Kelvin who presented the evidence?" George Roland's lawyer asked him.
