CHAPTER 39

As Detective Kelvin and Olivia basked in the joy of parenthood, George Roland seethed with rage at the turn of events. News of Olivia and Kelvin's growing family reached him like a bitter pill, fueling his resentment and thirst for revenge.

In his secluded hideout, surrounded by his loyal henchmen, Roland brooded over the injustice of it all. Olivia, the woman he had accused of killing his father, was now living freely, her life seemingly untouched by the pain and suffering she had caused him.

And to make matters worse, she had found happiness and solace in the arms of the man Roland despised most—Detective Kelvin.

"This can't be happening," Roland muttered to himself, his voice thick with anger as he paced back and forth across the dimly lit room.

One of his henchmen, a burly man with a scar across his cheek, cleared his throat nervously. "Boss, what do you want us to do about it?" he asked, his eyes darting anxiously towards Roland.
