Chapter 75 – Two Peas in a Pod
(Blake's POV)
I leaned on the door frame and watched Samantha and Bree from the ajar door. When I checked the time, it was already nine in the evening, and it was past her working time, but today she volunteered to stay a bit longer to put Bree to bed before going home.
They had just come out from the bathroom, and a white bath towel covered her tiny body. I could not help but smile as I imagined how she loved the bathtub, and I promised to buy a lot of bath and squeaky toys for her to play with while she takes a bath. I had taken care of Sean, but I could not imagine myself bathing her or taking care of her. She seemed delicate and soft, and I was afraid I might hurt her tiny body.
They were laughing when they came out of the bathroom. Samantha put her on top of the bed, and she opened her suitcase to look for her nightwear, but Bree picked up a blue T-shirt, and from the look of it, it’s not even hers.
