You're not trapped!

"Do you want to go swimming today?" He asked her.

"Yes please."

They went into the water and swam for a little bit until they both decided to stop, lying next to each other soaking wet on the sand. They continued laying there in silence, enjoying the warmth radiating off the sandy beach.

After awhile they heard laughter coming from somewhere nearby, causing Sergio to sit upright abruptly. He scanned the area and spotted the group of girls walking towards them and laughing loudly.

He glanced down at Serena who was still laying next to him, her eyes glazed over as she stared at nothing in particular. Her heart was racing rapidly in her chest and she felt like she was drowning.

They stood up from the sand and started walking back the way they came. One girl was calling after them, but they paid her no mind.

The girls followed them closely, laughing hysterically behind them. Sergio kept his head low and focused solely on keeping his feet planted firmly on the ground, not wanting to run
