Chapter Sixty Three

Ayva’s POV

I wasn't crazy, maybe just a little depressed with a touch of anxiety, but definitely not mad. However, Olivia seemed to think otherwise. She believed I had gone off the deep end just because I had a habit of checking the locks on the doors multiple times to ensure that we were safe and no one could break in. According to her, it wasn’t normal to do that about twelve times in a minute. She’d also caught me talking to the stars a few times. The first time she witnessed it, she cried, and since then, she'd been trying to stop me from going out at night because she thought it wasn’t "normal" to have conversations with the skies. If only she knew how much better the stars are at holding conversations than humans, she wouldn't judge me like that.
