ASTRID TALITHA'S POINT OF VIEW
"How was Grandpa?" I hardly closed my eyes as I heard her sigh on the other line. She might be having a hard time keeping it all by herself. Mom did not want anything that was happening in our family to affect our academic performance. Ashton used to tell me to call Mom much often.
"He will be going to be okay. Let's just pray even harder, okay? By the way, don't forget to have your breakfast, okay. Your grandpa told me last night that he will cook for you the next time you visit here." I hardly swallow and tried not to hear her in my sobs.
"Can you hug him for me?" I heard him burst into crying. Our conversation lasted for about an hour, and it was good that my class will begin later this afternoon.
