Chapter 29: Late Night Supper

RABIYA

It was already almost midnight when the dinner was served. We settled ourselves one by one onto the long (when I said long, I meant super long) table, where in on top of it laid the bountiful and stomach-churning menus of variety of foods. There was this famous toasted turkey, there was also some meatballs dipped into a sauce made of some spices and tomato ketchup, there was three different kinds of salads, and four different kinds of pasta. It was as if we were just eating in a catered restaurant, and the foods were surely way, way too much for us. As we sat ourselves onto the seats, we could not help but just be amazed and overwhelmed of what were laid on the table. That was why, while we were still waiting for  Travis’ big brother to join with us in this late night supper, we decided to take a mini conversation and talk about how majestic this set up was and why did it have to be that way.
