I knew at first glance to my wrist watch that we were going to take more than three hours here in this protest movement. It had been an hour and thirty four minutes only when we started to gather here in this venue with our placards and signages saying that we deserve not only an academic break but stronger and safer protocol. For some reasons, it occured to me that the faculty was not there, inside the covered gym. But then, when the Vice Principal’s personal assistant came out from the gym’s entrance, it was when I was able to confirm that they were really there, hiding. Now that I was pretty convinced that all of my speculations were true, I was starting to doubt the whole scenario. Suspiciously, why would they stay hiding inside and get themselves rid of the media if they were not taking away something from the public? Was it really necessary to ignore the students’ protest?
