Two days passed.

Joan rushed to her office, learning from her assistant about a problem with the production of the recent designs for winter clothes. 

The bruise on her face had lightened and with a touch of make-up, she looked good as new. Cole's bruises, however, were still obvious that Monica still did not allow him to show himself to the public.

Cole merely drove her to the mall and returned to the Penthouse right after. He meant to pick her up when her day at work was over. 

Her day was filled with phone calls after phone calls until she got a positive commitment from her production team. It was already after lunch that she resolved the crisis at JB Vogue.
