The atmosphere of the car was awkward so I don't know if I could talk to my dad properly after we left the restaurant. I looked outside the window just to kill the uneasiness inside my body, maybe I need to talk to him.

"You bought that," he killed the silence inside the car but that word wasn't a question and I know he's referring to something.

"I knew he didn't propose to you, Andrea."

"What are you trying to say? That I purchase this ring just to pretend that j*erk proposed?" I laughed nervously, "You know this ring was a hundred percent real."

"I know and I wasn't talking about his abrupt proposal because I can sense his loyalty to you, but that ring? I don't think so?"

I exhale and don't have any plan confronting him because this conversation will avert an unusual topic. Kalix almost ruined our plans! If it weren't for me? Maybe our fathers didn't believe us as we planned.
