Chapter Eighty Five

Niko carried Reyna into her room even though she was wide awake. He dropped her gently on the bed, going out back to collect the food from Joe.

“What happened?” Joe asked as he passed him the food.

“I want you to deal with her uncle. He trespassed, deal with him.” Niko said.

“Okay..” Joe said as he turned to leave.

“And look more into Reyna for me, I think there’s something we don’t know.” He added before walking away.

He climbed the staircase back to Reynas' room, the sound of the bathroom water flowing. He dropped the food on the floor before going to his room to change into casual clothes. He had stood at the door, hearing every word the man said to her.
