Chapter Sixty Five

“Is Reyna home yet?” Niko asked as he entered the house.

Going to the office everyday, and coming back to meet Alan seated in front of the television or pressing his iPod was the best view. It made him look like a father, something he wasn’t ready for and at the same time ready for. Reyna would be the first to get home but would lock herself in her room, the sound of machines revving throughout the house, and some music also in the air.

She was dealing with her project and really needed to focus on it. As he walked in with a tired look on his face, Alan gave him the same answer he always got;

“Yes, she’s busy.” He replied.

He raised his brows and sighed before collapsing on the chair. Alan looked over at Niko and noticed how tired he looked,

“What’s wrong with you?” He asked.

“I’m just tired.” Niko retorted.
