One Hundred and Ten

Luke and Nikos eyes rested on Reyna, waiting for her to say something while she fiddled on her feet. She was uncomfortable and in her mind, different curse words were being said to Niko.

“We’re counting on you. The deal is a very good one. And Niko knows so much that he shouldn’t lose it.” Luke said, his eyes pleading to Niko.

“Of course. We can stay. You can show me the company and I can check out where my office would be.” Reyna said, turning to look at Niko whose brows were scrunched up.

“Thank you! I know you would pick my side! Thank you! I’ll go set the meeting room up!” Luke yelled out, bowing continuously as he rushed away.

Reyna lips curled up as her eyes followed him until he disappeared, her lips curled into a small smile. It was not until Niko flicked her forehead and she scrunched her face up that she turned to face him.
